Our annual party is just around the corner.
Come and join us for a fun dinner night with an entertaining music band.
Meet us Saturday 26/05 @ the Dutch Club, 1 Gattan Crescent, Frenchs Forest NSW 2086 from 7PM.
Thank you everyone for supporting our biggest fundraising action of the year - the Australian Closed 2018, amateur humanitarian tennis tournament.
This was the 6th consecutive year, held once again, at the Warringah Recreation Centre in North Manly
This time our goals is to donate Edufeedback Play Attention System to Centar za Socijalni Rad Šamac, Republic Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina. This system is crucial in providing therapies in a fun and entertaining way to children who have any types of developmental delays and attention and behavioural issues. CSR Šamac will offer these treatments to children who have identified needs, they will work closely with schools and child care centers, and also with children in other neighbouring municipalities.
We are very grateful to be able to also support one of the local children’s charities this year. More info to follow in the next couple of weeks.
Our tournament was very successful despite our competitors battling extreme weather conditions, heat and strong winds. Congratulations to all!
The winner in the male tennis competition is Alex Koncar, and the runner up is Velimir Kanazir.
The winner in the women competition is Tia Vuk Luboya, and the runner up is Ana Petrovic.
This year we introduced table tennis, which was really popular with 16 competitors playing.
The winner is again Alex Koncar and runner up is Damir Terzic.
We were fortunate to have a special guest, the famous actor from Serbia, Ivan Bekjarev to support our tournament and to MC and to hand out certificates to all participants and special trophies and prizes to winners and runners up.
Our sponsors, Cars in Action and u-neXt Entertainment have donated prizes for winners and runner up, such as limousine drives, Rade Serbedzija concert and Zijah Sokolovic theatre tickets. Thank you.
Many thanks to all of our other generous donors and contributors who made this action very successful.

With our charity campaign during the 2018 Australian Closed amateur tennis tournament, Nest Inc. will support the Community Services Centre of Šamac (BiH) in carrying out its Edufeedback Therapy Project with the implementation of the Play Attention training system.
The purpose of this project is to help children with deficit by offering them the opportunity to benefit from the Edufeedback Therapies using the Play Attention system.
The Play Attention training system is extraordinarily powerful because it utilizes Edufeedback. Edufeedback is the integration of feedback technology with proven educational methodologies and behavioral shaping techniques.
In other words, Edufeedback allows Play Attention students to see attention in real-time by controlling cognitive video exercises by attention alone! This builds the cognitive skills and behaviors that support Executive Function.
Edufeedback also allows students to see a direct correlation between attention and behavior, and fidgeting makes the Play Attention games stop if attention wanes.
Edufeedback helps strengthen the learning process, cognitive outcomes, and outcome performance by providing a method to increase neural pathways that are under-developed making attention a challenge. This promotes better academic performance, work-related performance, social performance, and better self-esteem.
Edufeedback will be made available to children with deficit, children with ADHD and other attention disorders.
Nest Inc's goal is to raise funds which will allow us to purchase the Play Attention system with additional games, which will then be donated to the Community Services Centre in Šamac (BiH). The program will benefit children from Šamac and surrounding suburbs.
At Nest Inc. we are proud to announce the completion of our charity campaign for 2017 with the donation of much needed goods for disabled people.
Our friends from Feniks/Phoenix Association have organized an event at the Youth Cultural Center of Belgrade to mark the delivery and the completion of our humanitarian action. We have delivered 8 wheelchairs, special cushions dedicated for the use of wheelchairs and special foods for the disabled children.
The whole process was lengthy as we had to deal with administration duties and customs, but at the end of the day our great efforts were more than worth seeing bright smiles on the children's faces.
On the behalf of the children and people of the Feniks/Phoenixz Association we would like to thank all our donors from Australia and our friends in Belgrade for making this 2017 campaign a success.
Special thanks go to Ivan Bekjarev, Vesna Stankovic, Jelena Kis, Marija Ivankovic and Dusan Duda Bezuha.
We have finalized our charity campaign for 2017, and we can announce that we will be putting our efforts and energy in helping the children in need from the Feniks/Phoenix Association.
Feniks is a not-for-profit association of persons with disabilities all of kind based in Belgrade and whose aim is to raise awareness and help people with various disabilities.
One of Feniks' statutory goals is to help and support disabled children in need, and we have wisely chosen to provide assistance.
We will communicate more during and after our amateur tennis tournament Australian Closed which is held this week end in North Manly.
